The ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles look to make a strong statement in their 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference debut as they take on the Akari Chargers on Tuesday, October 7, at the Ynares Center Montalban.
The Thunderbelles are expected to showcase their 5-foot-11 reinforcement, American outside spiker Anna DeBeer—a standout from the University of Louisville known for her explosive offense and steady floor game.
Her addition, coupled with the return of Thea Gagate from national team duty, gives the Thunderbelles a significant boost as they open their campaign in what promises to be a fast-paced and competitive two-month tournament.

However, the Thunderbelles will have their hands full against the Akari Chargers, who are parading American import Annie Mitchem, a seasoned pro with stints in Indonesia, Italy, Turkey, and Brazil.
