The Chery Tiggo Crossovers will lean on Imee Hernandez as they aim to cap their PVL Invitational campaign with a podium finish against Creamline Cool Smashers on Sunday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The 4:00 p.m. showdown sets up a clash of momentum, with Chery Tiggo seeking redemption after a reverse sweep at the hands of guest team Kobe Shinwa University last time out.

After finishing with a silver medal in the PVL on Tour, Chery Tiggo is determined to secure another top-3 finish, with Hernandez hoping to build on her 17-point outing against Kobe Shinwa, her best since returning from knee injury.

The Crossovers will need a strong collective effort to overcome a rejuvenated Creamline squad, which returned to the winning track with a 3-set drubbing of ZUS Coffee.

Creamline, chasing its 19th consecutive podium finish in PVL history, will rely on the steady scoring of Jema Galanza, who tallied 18 points in three sets against ZUS Coffee.

The Cool Smashers aim to extend their legacy and prevent Chery Tiggo from snatching the final podium spot.

Sunday’s clash promises high stakes and plenty of fireworks as both teams vie for a strong finish in the Invitational.
