PLDT superstar Savi Davison capped off a dominant campaign with her first-ever Most Valuable Player award in the 2025 PVL Invitational at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Sunday night, Aug. 31.

This was the cherry on top for Davison, who led the High Speed Hitters to back-to-back titles in the league.

The 26-year-old Fil-Canadian finished third overall in scoring with 94 points — despite missing one elimination game — on 81 attacks, nine blocks and four service aces.

She also ranked second in spiking at 38.57 percent, third in serving at 0.22 aces per set, sixth in blocking at 0.50 per set and seventh in receiving at 30 percent.

Meanwhile, Jema Galanza of Creamline and Nagisa Komatsuda of Kobe Shinwa University were named Best Outside Hitters.

Galanza, who bagged her sixth career award in the position, showcased her steadiness on both ends while finishing second in overall scoring with 99 points, seventh in spiking at 30.85 percent, ninth in service at 0.18 aces per set, fifth in digs with 2.36 per set and third in receiving at 45 percent.

Komatsuda stood out as the tournament’s top scorer with 104 points and led all attackers with a spiking rate of 39.26 percent.

Chery Tiggo's Ara Galang secured her first individual award in the pros as she was named Best Opposite Spiker.

Galang collected 69 points and ranked eighth in scoring, ninth in spiking at 25.93 percent, fourth in blocking at 0.55 per set and seventh in digging with 2.00 per set.

The Cool Smashers' Pangs Panaga continued her reign as the league’s most dominant middle blocker by claiming her eighth recognition in the position as she led the field in blocking with 0.91 per set.

Panaga tallied a tournament-best 20 denials while adding 51 points for 12th overall in scoring.

Joining her was rookie Riza Nogales of ZUS Coffee, who made an immediate impact by ranking second in blocking with 0.59 per set and finishing with 10 rejections in the Invitational.

PLDT's Kath Arado claimed her fifth Best Libero award after topping all players in digging with 5.00 per set while placing second in receiving at 55.56 percent efficiency.
