TNT Tropang Giga head into Game 2 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup Finals against Barangay Ginebra looking to build on their dominant opening performance.

Coming off a commanding 104-88 win in Game 1, the defending champs are as confident as ever as they aim to secure a 2-0 lead in the series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 30.

TNT showed impressive depth in the opener, with five players scoring in double figures.

Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson anchored the attack, posting 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rey Nambatac stood out in his Finals debut, delivering a near triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.

Veterans Poy Erram (15 points), Jayson Castro (14 points), and RR Pogoy (12 points) also contributed, helping TNT score a wire-to-wire win, even stretching their advantage to as many as 20 points in the second half.

With the series lead in hand, TNT looks to keep up the intensity in Game 2 to stay on track for another Governors’ Cup title.

Tip off for Game 2 is at 7:30 p.m. from the Big Dome.
