Seeing him with the Sacramento Kings still feels surreal.
The Utah Jazz will have heavy competition this season for Most Filipinos Commenting On Team's Social Media Accounts. With the addition of Jimmy Alapag, the Sacramento Kings will definitely get a lot of love from Filipinos.
Just in case you haven't heard, Alapag was promoted as the Kings' player development coach after spending time as a deputy tactician with the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League.
The six-time PBA champion is the latest guy with Filipino blood currently in the NBA, joining Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson and Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green, and it's hard not to beam with pride seeing the Mighty Mouse with the Kings.
On Thursday, he got some court action with the squad. OK, he didn't exactly play, but he did take the floor with several kids during the Kings' fan fest at the Golden One Center.

The 45-year-old former PBA MVP has truly come a long way in his coaching career, and we're all for it.

Speaking of which, he posted on his Instagram Story an inspiring reminder about pursuing one's dreams.
"Don't be surprised when days feel easier, nights come with peace, and life starts to become what you've dreamed of. You deserve it, and it's about time. Never let your manifestations shock you. Everything is on the way," read the quote.

Got that, insan!
Alapag and the Kings will open their campaign against Clarkson and the Jazz on Thursday.
