Kevin Durant goes hot-handed, leading the USA’s solid scoring against Serbia in the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Kevin Durant, who had missed the pre-Games friendlies, seamlessly returned to action for Team USA, scoring 23 points, including a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range in the first half en route to victory against Serbia, 110-84, in the men's basketball event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
His only miss came in the fourth quarter.
LeBron James contributed significantly with 21 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds, while Jrue Holiday added 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Devin Booker and the backcourt duo of Steph Curry and Anthony Edwards each added to the score, ensuring a strong second half for the Americans.
The USA team, aiming for their fifth consecutive gold medal, delivered a decisive third-quarter blow, outscoring Serbia 26-16. Despite a brief Serbian resurgence led by Nikola Jokic, who scored 20 points, the Americans quickly reasserted their dominance, closing the game with a 22-point lead.
Jokic led Serbia with a notable performance, but his efforts, along with those of Bogdan Bogdanovic and Ognjen Dobric, were insufficient against a relentless Team USA.
