Ramos, Hokkaido split weekend series with Parks Jr. and Osaka in B.LEAGUE showdown

Levanga Hokkaido and the Osaka Evessa settled for a weekend split in their B.LEAGUE series, with both teams taking one game apiece in Osaka.

On Sunday, Nov. 2, Hokkaido bounced back with a 102–82 victory, starting strong with a 30–18 first quarter and never looking back.

The Levanga led by as many as 27 points to avenge Saturday’s loss and Jahlil Okafor powered the win with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Dwight Ramos contributed 16 points and four boards, and Kevin Jones also added 16 points. Ray Parks Jr. finished with 18 points for Osaka.

 

 

The previous day, Osaka turned the tables with an 84–69 win, fueled by a dominant 29–15 fourth quarter.

The Evessa held Hokkaido scoreless for nearly seven minutes bridging the third and fourth periods, transforming a one-point deficit into a 15-point lead.

Matt Bonds had a stellar 31-point outing, while Parks Jr. added 12 points. Ramos finished with 13 points for Hokkaido in the loss.

After the series, Hokkaido improved to 8–4, while Osaka sits at 5–7 in the ongoing B.LEAGUE season.
