The Los Angeles Lakers continued their hot start to the season, fending off a late rally by the Miami Heat to secure a 130–120 victory on Monday (PH time) at the Crypto.com Arena.

Despite struggling from the field, Luka Doncic recorded another all-around performance with a triple-double of 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, plus three steals, to lead the Lakers to their third straight win and a 5-2 record.

Austin Reaves added a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Jake LaRavia chipped in 25 points, eight boards, three assists, and four steals in the balanced Lakers attack.

Los Angeles never trailed, building an 18-point lead in the first half, before holding off the Heat’s fourth-quarter surge.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. led Miami with 31 points, but the Heat slipped to 3-3 for the season.
