Filipina fighter Denice Zamboanga has officially become the undisputed ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion following Stamp Fairtex’s injury-related withdrawal from their highly anticipated unification bout at ONE 173: Denver.

Originally slated for August 1, 2025, the world title clash between interim champion Zamboanga and reigning titleholder Stamp was expected to headline the Ball Arena event.

However, Stamp suffered a setback while rehabbing her surgically repaired knee and has agreed to relinquish her belt after nearly two years of inactivity.

This marks the second time that Zamboanga and Fairtex’s bout was cancelled due to an injury.

With the collapse of the marquee matchup, along with other planned world championship bouts, ONE Championship announced that the Denver event will be rescheduled to June 26, 2026.

“We are saddened to hear of the injury setback to Stamp and wish her nothing but the best in her road to recovery,” said ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong. “When bringing the world’s largest martial arts organization to the U.S., we strive to deliver the very best product to our passionate American fan base and put on the most entertaining and memorable show possible.”

“The U.S. remains a high-priority market, and we are committed to bringing the very best events to our fans,” he added.
