A week after the epic spectacle that was WrestleMania 40, The Rock is back to being Dwayne Johnson.

And as Johnson prepares to take a step back from WWE, the “Final Boss” made sure to shoutout the “MVP” of WrestleMania 40.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

“Congratulations to who I feel is the real MVP of the entire WrestleMania weekend, Seth Rollins,” The Rock said in a lengthy social media message Monday.

True enough, Rollins played a key part in both main events from WrestleMania 40.

Seth partnered up with Cody Rhodes in the Night 1 main event against The Rock and Roman Reigns, which The Bloodline won to set up the special stipulation in Night 2 between Rhodes and Reigns for the Undisputed Title.

Under “Bloodline Rules,” Rollins lived up to being Cody’s “Shield” and took a chair shot from Reigns, giving Rhodes the opening he needed to beat Roman for the title.

In between, Rollins also defended his World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre, albeit losing his belt after a hard-hitting bout. The match opened Night 2, setting the stage for an explosive end to what was easily the biggest WrestleMania in history.

Aside from Rollins, “The Final Boss” also made sure to acknowledge his fellow WrestleMania 40 main eventers in Rhodes and Reigns.

“What an honor it was to share the ring with you three,” Rock said of Rhodes, Reigns, and Rollins. “What an honor it was for us to break records.”
