Gilas Pilipinas Youth now face the long road ahead in the FIBA U16 Asia Cup.

Jhello Lumague and Jhustin Hallare combined for 24 points, but Team Philippines (1-2) suffered their second loss in three days and are are now relegated to the qualification round for the quarterfinals stage where they will meet the second-place team from Group A.

Gilas Youth's lone victory in the tournament thus far came with a 65-50 win against Indonesia on Monday, September 1

Meanwhile, Liam Keogh fired 17 points while Lawson Pryor added 15 markers in just 19 minutes for the 3-0 New Zealand squad, who swept Group B and claimed an automatic quarterfinal spot.
