The National University Bulldogs overpowered the Far Eastern University Tamaraws in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20, to secure solo second place in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, April 24.
The win improved NU's record to 11-3, guaranteeing them at least a playoff for a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four. The Bulldogs await the result of De La Salle University's (10-3) final match against the University of Santo Tomas (8-5) to determine their playoff opponent.
