Far Eastern University's Faida Bakanke led her team to a hard-fought four-set victory over the University of the Philippines, 25-20, 27-29, 25-21, 25-21, in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Saturday, April 20. The win extends FEU's winning streak to five games.
Bakanke was unstoppable at the net, putting on an offensive clinic with a game-high 19 points. She dominated the opening set, single-handedly outscoring UP with 11 points.
Despite a valiant comeback attempt by the Fighting Maroons, FEU managed to weather the storm and secure the crucial win.
