Beach volleyball icon Sisi Rondina rang in 2026 with a personal milestone, announcing her engagement to fellow beach volleyball standout Ronniel Rosales.
Volleyball star and SEA Games gold medalist Sisi Rondina has another reason to celebrate—this time off the sand.
Rondina shared the happy news on social media, announcing her engagement to longtime partner and fellow beach volleyball player Ronniel Rosales.
Posting a photo of the intimate moment on Instagram, Rondina simply wrote, “It’s a forever thing ??💍??.”
Rosales echoed the sentiment in his own post, captioning it, “God’s plan, my promise 💍??.”
The announcement was met with warm congratulations from across the volleyball community.
Among those who sent their love were her soon-to-be Choco Mucho teammate Eya Laure, veterans Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Jia de Guzman of Alas Pilipinas, and Vanie Gandler, highlighting the strong support surrounding the couple.

The engagement comes just months after a career-defining moment for Rondina on the international stage.
In the recently-concluded SEA Games 2025 in Thailand, Rondina teamed up with Bernadeth Pons to lead Alas Pilipinas to a historic run in women’s beach volleyball.
The Filipina duo stunned the home crowd by handing Thailand its first loss of the tournament, sweeping the hosts in the opening match of the Finals.
As 2026 begins, Rondina enters the new year not only as a champion on the sand, but also with a new chapter unfolding in her personal life—one built on partnership, faith, and a promise that now lasts beyond the game.
