The race to the quarterfinals of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference is about to heat up as the league unveiled the official grouping for the second group stage, featuring two stacked pools loaded with title contenders and dark-horse squads.

Following the completion of the first round, the remaining teams have been reclassified into Pool C and Pool D, setting up another round of intense battles as clubs continue their pursuit of the Reinforced crown.

Pool C

Pool C is shaping up to be the tougher bracket, with a mix of powerhouse programs and rising challengers set to clash.

  1. ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles (5-0)
  2. Creamline Cool Smashers (3-2)
  3. Akari Chargers (3-2)
  4. Choco Mucho Flying Titans (2-3)
  5. Cignal HD Spikers (2-3)
  6. Nxled Chameleons (0-5)

ZUS Coffee, the league’s biggest surprise this season, enters the round as the only unbeaten team, looking to sustain its momentum against battle-tested squads like Choco Mucho and Cignal.

Meanwhile, Akari and Choco Mucho aim to bounce back from inconsistent starts, while Nxled, still chasing its first win, will use the new stage to regroup and build confidence.

Pool D

On the other side, Pool D features a more balanced mix of rosters anchored by depth, chemistry, and playoff experience.

  1. PLDT High Speed Hitters (4-1)
  2. Farm Fresh Foxies (4-1)
  3. Capital1 Solar Spikers (3-2)
  4. Petro Gazz Angels (3-2)
  5. Chery Tiggo Crossovers (1-4)
  6. Galeries Tower Highrisers (0-5)

PLDT and Farm Fresh enter the stage as co-leaders with identical 4-1 records, with the High Speed Hitters holding the edge on set ratio. The two will look to continue their strong form against the reigning All-Filipino champions Petro Gazz, who has struggled to start the conference.

For Chery Tiggo and Galeries Tower, the next round presents an opportunity to disrupt the hierarchy and make a late push for a quarterfinal berth.

What’s next?

The top 3 teams in each pool will face off against the bottom three teams in a single-elimination format, with records carrying over.

The top 8 squads overall will secure a spot in the quarterfinals.

The second group stage promises higher stakes, deeper storylines, and a clear separation between contenders and pretenders.
