Coming off a deflating loss to Creamline, the Nxled Chameleons returned to the winner’s circle after taking down the Capital1 Solar Spikers, 25-14, 25-23, 25-22, in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena on Tuesday.

The Chameleons staged a spirited comeback in the third frame before hiking their record to 4-6.

Staring down a 2-11 deficit in the decisive set, Cams Victoria and Ivy Lacsina spearheaded a fightback that forged a deadlock at 15.

The Solar Spikers managed to reclaim the lead at 16-15, but Lacsina pummeled one hit after another to push the Chameleons ahead for good.

Lacsina finished with 12 points, all but one coming from attacks, while Victoria stepped up in lieu of Lycha Ebon, who is recovering from a "body condition", put up 17 markers built on 14 attacks and three blocks.

Jho Maraguinot provided ample support with eight points and seven digs for the Chameleons, who drew 11 excellent sets from Kam Cal.

Capital1, meanwhile, fell to a 1-9 slate.

Des Clemente paced the losing side with 10 points, while captain Jorelle Singh managed eight markers.

Nxled aims to finish its campaign strong when it tries to upend Petro Gazz, while Capital1 also seeks a triumphant end to its maiden campaign when it attempts to upset Cignal on April 27, Saturday.

Both matches will be held at the same Pasig venue.
