Jayson Tatum is one of the best players in the NBA today, no doubt. He has taken the Celtics to the NBA Finals. He’s and NBA candidate this season. And as he made his fourth NBA All-Star appearance this year, JT received his first signature shoe from Jordan brand.

The high-scoring small forward celebrated the milestone with his mini-me on Instagram.

JT1 is supposed to be the lightest shoe in Jordan brand’s current lineup of basketball sneakers. As for the colorways, it has four. First is the Zoo, which is a reference to JT’s son Deuce whose favorite activity is visiting the zoo, has a black/red pattern. The one Tatum wore to open up the 2023 All-Star Game is the Pink Lemonade. The other two are called St. Louis, a hometown homage with a predominantly white design, and the Barbershop, which features a balanced, black and white motif.

In 2023 ASG, two All-Stars in Jayson Tatum, and Dallas Mavericks main man Luka Doncic represented Jordan brand. Zion Williamson was supposed to be the third guy, but he was out due to a hamstring injury. All things considered, Jayson Tatum probably made the most impact in the NBA among Jordan brand ambassadors. If the trend continues, expect the JT1 to be one of the hottest cops when it hits the stores this April.

The JT1 proved to be a good omen for Tatum too, as the young Celtics forward reset the NBA All-Star Game scoring record with 55 points, to claim the Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP trophy.
