LeBron James added the all-time scoring record to his growing list of accolades in the NBA on Wednesday.

With 38,390 points, at 38 years old, in year 20, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar just made it easy for more people to anoint him the basketball GOAT. It’s hard to argue against that.

But James isn’t done yet.

At this stage, James is still craving for more championships. And at the rate things are going, with body and skills which have not showed any signs of significant decline, it seems that achieving the goal is far fetched.

“I know I can play a couple of more years. The way I’m feeling, the way my body’s been reacting to me throughout this course of the season,” James said in the aftermath of the 130-133 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

In 2022, he also made it clear he wants to play with his sons Bronny and Bryce.

Barring any major injuries, that could come to fruition, too. As early as now, Bronny, named McDonald's All-American this year, is an NBA draft prospect.

James wants all these, even if it means playing for another franchise.

“If my mind is still into it. If I’m still motivated to compete for championships ‘cause I feel like that’s what I can still do for any group of guys or any franchise,” he said.
