Defending champion Creamline booked a return trip to the Finals of the PVL All-Filipino Conference, sending Chery Tiggo crashing out of contention with a resounding 25-16, 25-21, 25-20, victory in the semifinals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.

This marks the seventh-straight appearance of the Cool Smashers in the championship round of the All-Filipino or Open Conference, and their fifth time since the league turned professional in 2021.

With the win, Creamline hiked its record to 2-1 with seven points. Even in the event of a triple-tie in the semis standings, the Cool Smashers' point total will be more than good enough.

Tots Carlos was as reliable as ever for the Cool Smashers, pummeling a game-high 16 points built on 11 attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

Alyssa Valdez also made her presence felt with 10 markers, while Jeanette Panaga anchored above the net with four blocks on her way to seven points.

Jema Galanza scattered six points and seven digs for Creamline, which drew 16 excellent sets and six points from Kyle Negrito.

On the other hand, no Crossover scored in double figures as Eya Laure paced the losing side with eight points, on top of seven receptions and six digs.

Aby Maraño also had eight markers in the losing cause, while Mylene Paat managed seven markers.
