Look Good, Play Good: UAAP Final Four Version

Look Good, Play Good: UAAP Final Four Version

In basketball nowadays, looking good is almost as important as playing good. When a player’s swag and drip are on point, they carry over a different vibe and energy that brighten up the game even more. Same goes for the fans. The more they look the part, the better and wilder the atmosphere gets. And since the most important games in UAAP basketball are here, let’s check out some proper gear courtesy of the Final Four participants.

UP Fighting Maroons

The Fighting Maroons’ witty statement shirts are always fun to look at. Maybe a clever print that would remind everyone who the defending champs are would be the ultimate flex. A united effort in doing that should give the opposing side goosebumps the next time they hear “UP Fight!” inside the arena. Knowing how the UP community has been taking over the UAAP fanhood in the last few years, we can’t expect anything less from these die-hard Isko and Iska.

Ateneo Blue Eagles

The Blue Eagles are at their best when they run their sets to near perfection. And just like their flawless execution on both ends of the floor, the Ateneo squad knows how to stay unscathed when it comes to rocking kicks. Take Ange Kouame and Dave Ildefonso for example. Their dunk lows are just too clean to be messed with. In these Final Four encounters, expect the Eagles to match their fine play with fly footwear.

DLSU Green Archers / Adamson Soaring Falcons

The Green Archers and the Falcons are pretty much in a life-or-death situation as they try to make the Final Four. So, for this one, it’s best to honor the player who’ll come up with a  better semis-clinching performance. Whether it’s Evan Nelle or Kevin Quiambao of DLSU or Jerom Lastimosa of ADU, the fans should pay their respects by wearing either a tribute shirt or replica jersey of the player who came up clutch and got their team over the hump.

NU Bulldogs

Any commemorative merch of their Season 77 title run would be a good choice to rock during the semifinals. Remember, the Bulldogs captured that historic championship coming off a twice-to-beat disadvantage in the Final Four–similar to where they are now. Inspiring the current players that they too can pull off something like that seems like a good idea.

Hey, even an old Paolo Javelona jersey might do the trick!
