Adamson made light work of Ateneo, 25-19, 25-18, 25-10, for a strong start to its UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball campaign at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay Sunday, Feb. 15.

The Lady Falcons flexed their superior firepower, led by Shaina Nitura and Frances Mordi, against the rebuilding Blue Eagles.

After taking the first two sets, AdU never let up, zooming to an 8-0 lead that ballooned to 16-1 in the third.

The Blue Eagles struggled to get anything going on offense despite a healthy Zel Tsunashima and Jlo Delos Santos.
