The UST Growling Tigers beat top-ranked NU Bulldogs to claim their slot in the Final Four of UAAP Season 88.

This after UST punched its ticket to the semifinals with an 80-71 win over top-ranked NU Bulldogs Sunday at the MOA Arena.
The victory put the Growling Tigers to 8-5, which is more than enough to advance.
Meanwhile, NU wrapped up the elimination round with an 11-3 record, taking the no. 1 seed and a twice-to-beat advantage to the next round.
Gelo Crisostomo led UST with 13 points, while Collins Akowe, Mark Llemit, and Amiel Acido all finished with 11 points apiece.
For NU, it was Omar John that carried the fight with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The last semis slot is down to La Salle (7-6), Ateneo (6-7), and FEU (6-7).
