The Adamson Soaring Falcons secured a crucial win over fellow Final Four-seeking La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball.
Adamson nipped La Salle, 61-60, as it continues to hang on to its Final Four hopes in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The Soaring Falcons improved to 6-7, keeping pace with Top Four teams National U (11-2), University of the Philippines (9-3), University of Santo Tomas (7-5) and the Green Archers (6-6) heading into their last elimination round assignment.

They will battle Ateneo, currently holding a 5-6 card and is tackling the Fighting Maroons as of presstime, Sunday.
Match is at 1:30 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

AdU held a four-point lead at halftime, 35-31, but got outgunned in the third, 10-19, before recovering late in the fourth quarter to fuel its bid.
DLSU, also eyeing a slot in the penultimate round, skidded to its third straight loss.
Matty Erolon drilled a triple earlier in the payoff period to give Adamson the lead, 55-53, with 3:57 ticks left in the ballgame.
Matthew Montebon came up with clutch baskets of his own, a pair of which gave the Soaring Falcons a six-point cushion, 61-55, at the 1:48 mark.
The Green Archers continued to threaten, unleashing a quick 5-0 blitz and completing a defensive stop in the final seconds to stay within just a point.
But Earl Abadam botched his three-point attempt, spelling doom for his squad as time ran out.
