The Growling Tigers surged to third place with a 7–5 record, thanks to a crucial weekend sweep of the UE Red Warriors and the Blue Eagles.

In contrast, the Green Archers have hit a bump in the road after a narrow 84–83 loss to the Tamaraws dropped them to 6–5 and fourth place, marking their second consecutive loss after a four-game winning streak.
The loss to UST leaves the Ateneo Blue Eagles in solo fifth place at 5–6, outside the Final Four picture, with both FEU (5–7) and Adamson (5–7) hot on their heels in sixth and seventh places, respectively.
