Precious Momowei and the UE Red Warriors will attempt to finally break into the win column when they face the UST Growling Tigers in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Wednesday, November 12.

Gametime is 2:00 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The Red Warriors (0–11) are still searching for their first win of the season and are now without team captain John Abate, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament due to injury.

With Abate sidelined, Momowei will shoulder a bigger role after a quiet four-point outing against UP in their last game.

UE, currently on a 17-game skid dating back to last season, hopes to finally end its drought against a UST team that’s also reeling from its own struggles.

The Tigers (5–5) have lost four straight, with Amiel Acido scoring 10 points in their most recent defeat to the Fighting Maroons.

The Red Warriors will look to channel their hunger into a season-defining upset to avoid a winless campaign.
