The Adamson Lady Falcons opened the second round of the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on a high note, cruising to a convincing 75–49 win over the UE Lady Warriors on Saturday, October 25.

Determined to recover from their previous loss to De La Salle University, the Lady Falcons played with renewed energy and focus, improving their record to 3–5 midway through the season.

Meanwhile, the Lady Warriors continue to struggle, remaining winless after eight outings.

Cheska Apag led Adamson’s balanced attack, earning Player of the Game honors after posting 16 points on an efficient 7-of-13 shooting clip. Her aggressive drives and steady midrange game kept the Falcons in control throughout the contest.

The win gives the Lady Falcons a much-needed confidence boost as they aim to climb the standings in the latter half of the season.

Adamson will next face the UST Growling Tigresses in their upcoming matchup, while the UE Lady Warriors will try to finally break into the win column when they take on the DLSU Lady Archers.
