UAAP: Zyla Lubrico, La Salle look to extend win streak, hand UST first loss

Zyla Lubrico and the resurgent DLSU Lady Archers look to keep their momentum going — and possibly hand UST its first loss — when they collide in the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on Saturday, October 25, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

After a shaky start to the season, La Salle has roared back to life with three straight wins, including a thrilling victory over Adamson. 

Lubrico powered the Lady Archers in that game with 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals, continuing to prove her consistency on both ends of the floor.

Now at 3-4, the Lady Archers will try to sustain their midseason surge and pull off a massive upset against the league-leading Tigresses. 

To do that, La Salle will need another collective effort led by Lubrico, Kyla Go, and Tricia Mendoza as they aim to derail UST’s unbeaten campaign and solidify their push for the Final Four.
