Amyah Espanol and the FEU Lady Tamaraws will try to bounce back from a tough loss when they face the winless UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on Sunday, October 19.

Gametime is 11:30 a.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Holding a 2-3 record, the Lady Tamaraws are determined to stay within striking distance of the top four after absorbing a 104-66 defeat to unbeaten UST in their last outing.

Espanol was a bright spot for FEU, leading the charge with 18 points, nine rebounds, and three steals, while MJ Manguiat added 11 points.

A victory against UE — which has yet to taste success this season — would not only boost FEU’s confidence but also strengthen the team’s push for a Final Four slot.

With Espanol’s steady leadership and Manguiat’s consistency, FEU is looking to assert its veteran poise against a UE squad still searching for its first win.
