FEU looks to finally break into the win column as the Tamaraws battle the Adamson Soaring Falcons in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m.

The Tamaraws are desperate to avoid a 0-4 start after a heartbreaking 74-72 defeat to La Salle in their last outing.

FEU trailed by double digits entering the fourth quarter but mounted a late rally, only to fall short when Jorick Bautista’s last-second layup that could have forced overtime went off target.

Janrey Pasaol netted 25 points, five rebounds and four assists in losing effort while Mo Konateh backed him up with a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards.

Still, their efforts weren’t enough to prevent FEU from sliding to the bottom of the standings alongside UE as the only winless squads this season.

Now on their fourth try, the Tamaraws aim to turn things around against an Adamson side also looking to recover from a lopsided 77-58 loss to Ateneo.
