Mason Amos and the DLSU Green Archers seek back-to-back wins when they clash with the UST Growling Tigers in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Tip off is slated for 4:30 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

La Salle opened its campaign with a hard-fought two-point escape over Adamson, with Amos knocking down the dagger triple to preserve the victory.

Now, the transferee forward will aim to bounce back from his modest six-point debut as the Green Archers look to show sharper form in their second outing.

The Archers will be tested against a UST side brimming with confidence after a 20-point demolition of defending champion UP.

Rookie Collins Akowe powered the Tigers with a stunning 29-point, 17-rebound debut, while guard Forthsky Padrigao returns from a one-game suspension to add more depth.

Both teams are at 1-0, and the winner will keep pace with early leader Ateneo (2-0), making Saturday’s matchup an important test of contender credentials.
