Janrey Pasaol and the FEU Tamaraws will try to turn the page when they face the NU Bulldogs in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The game is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Pasaol nearly carried FEU to victory in their season opener, erupting for 24 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists in a heartbreaking overtime loss to Ateneo.
The do-it-all guard will again be tasked to lead the Tamaraws as they search for their first win of the season and avoid slipping to an 0-2 start.
The challenge will be steep against an NU side coming off a convincing win over UE, with Paul Francisco impressing in that contest with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting.
The Bulldogs (1-0) are gunning for back-to-back victories to keep pace with early leader Ateneo.
With both teams hungry for early momentum, the Tamaraws’ clash against NU presents an opportunity for Pasaol and company to turn individual brilliance into collective success.
