NU Bulldogs hope to build on their opening-day win when they face a wounded FEU Tamaraws squad in UAAP Season 88.
Paul Francisco and the NU Bulldogs look to ride the momentum of their opening-day win when they face the FEU Tamaraws in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Game time is 2:00 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Francisco, who chipped in 12 points on an efficient 5-of-7 shooting in NU’s victory over UE, will try to deliver another steady outing as the Bulldogs aim for a 2-0 start.
The Sampaloc-based squad is eyeing to keep pace with early league leader Ateneo (2-0).
FEU, meanwhile, is hoping to avoid a 0-2 hole after suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to Ateneo in its opener.
Janrey Pasaol shined in that defeat with a near triple-double of 24 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists, but the Tamaraws will need his brilliance to finally translate into a win.
With NU seeking to stay unbeaten and FEU desperate to get on board, Saturday’s matchup promises to be another early-season test of resilience and composure.
