Jared Bahay helped Ateneo claw back from a late-game deficit to beat Far Eastern University in overtime, 86-83, to open UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball hostilities at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion Saturday, Sept. 20.

After Jorick Bautista drilled the game-tying basket at the end of regulation, Bahay scored or assisted in eight points of a pivotal 11-0 run that flipped the script on the Tamaraws in the extra period.

Bahay found one-and-done recruit Kymani Ladi, who finished with 26 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, for the go-ahead basket to give them the lead. Bahay also made a clutch free throw and a steal to stave off FEU in the final moments in overtime.
