Tab Baldwin is staying put in Katipunan, with the multi-titled coach inking a fresh three-year extension to remain at the helm of the Ateneo Blue Eagles through UAAP Season 91.
Tab Baldwin is not going anywhere.
The four-time UAAP champion coach will remain with the Ateneo Blue Eagles for at least Season 91, a boost for the Katipunan-based squad.
Ateneo president Fr. Roberto Yap, SJ, confirmed the development via a school bulletin just hours before the Blue Eagles open their UAAP Season 88 campaign against the FEU Tamaraws.

“Thank you for building such a strong program over the past years. We are happy you are renewing with us,” Yap said.
He added: “We are thrilled that you are staying on.”
Entering his 10th season with Ateneo, coach Baldwin has delivered four UAAP titles to the Blue Eagles, including a three-peat from Season 80-82.
But last year’s stumble — the Blue Eagles missed the Final Four for the first time since 2013 — has fueled their resolve in pursuit of a first title since 2022.

“With you guys, I will be able to be part of rebuilding this program — bringing glory and success back to the hill,” Baldwin said.
