The 44-year-old spent a whole decade as the coach of the UST Golden Tigresses but had been in the España school’s pipeline since his own playing career back in the late 90s. There, he won three UAAP titles as a player.
Despite moving to the Red Lion’s den, Reyes remains as sports director of the women’s and girls volleyball program in UST.
Reyes’ deputy and former FEU and UP head coach Shaq Delos Santos takes over the reins for the UST Golden Tigresses.
Reyes now takes on the challenge of lifting the San Beda Lady Red Spikers to a first-ever title in NCAA women’s volleyball.
