Onto the next.

Former UAAP champion Alleiah Malaluan formally announced her departure from the DLSU Lady Spikers ahead of the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft set for Sunday, June 8.

“Fifteen incredible years playing for the green and white — an absolute honor and a ride I’ll cherish forever,” Malaluan wrote in an emotional Instagram post.

“To my coaches, managers, teammates, OSD fam, and the La Sallian community — thank you for your guidance, unwavering support, and constant belief in me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!”

Before deciding to turn pro, the 22-year-old outside hitter made three Finals appearances with the Taft-based squad and captured her lone collegiate title in Season 85.

Malaluan first caught the attention of the volleyball world in the juniors division, teaming up with then-teammate and former Rookie-MVP Angel Canino to help De La Salle Zobel stun powerhouse NU Nazareth in the UAAP Season 81 Juniors Finals.

Now, she turns the page of her latest volleyball chapter as Malaluan is one of four Lady Spikers --- alongside Baby Jyne Soreno, Julyana Tolentino, and Jessa Ordiales --- and 57 draft hopefuls who made the cut.
