Bella Belen, Sheena Toring, and Erin Pangilinan celebrate their graduation just days before the NU Lady Bulldogs head into the UAAP Season 87 Women’s Volleyball Finals.
National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs stars Bella Belen, Sheena Toring, and Erin Pangilinan celebrated a major off-court milestone, as they officially graduated just days before the UAAP Season 87 Women’s Volleyball Finals.
Held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the trio proudly donned their academic gowns, with Belen and Pangilinan acquiring degrees in BS Psychology, while Toring earned a degree in BS Tourism Management.
Also spotted at the graduation and earning his degree is NU men’s volleyball team captain Leo Aringo.
Their graduation comes as NU prepares for its best-of-three finals series against the DLSU Lady Spikers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, with Game 1 scheduled for Sunday, May 11.
The Bulldogs will also be competing in the finals, but against the FEU Tamaraws.
The Lady Bulldogs secured their third finals appearance in four seasons after pulling off a thrilling five-set comeback win over FEU in the Final Four.
All three graduates have been instrumental in NU's Season 87 run, which saw them finish with a 12-2 record atop the standings.
Belen continues to lead the team as one of the league’s top scorers and all-around performers, while Toring and Pangilinan have provided consistent presence at the net with their blocking and experience.
With their graduation done and dusted, the departing Lady Bulldogs look to end their UAAP careers with back-to-back titles.
