Noel Kampton expressed his heartfelt thanks to the DLSU Green Spikers and community following their UAAP Season 87 Final Four exit.
The DLSU Green Spikers may have bowed out of UAAP Season 87 following a hard-fought loss to the FEU Tamaraws in the Final Four, but their journey this year was anything but a defeat. It was a season of resilience, of revival, and of heart—and no player embodied that more than Noel Kampton.
In a powerful and emotional post, Kampton poured his heart out to the La Salle community, expressing his deepest gratitude to the team that shaped him not only as a volleyball player, but as a man.
“Thank you La Salle!!! Lumots, mahal na mahal na mahal ko kayo!!! Pasensya na kung pinag tatangol niyo ako lalo na yung mga times na may mga nagawa akong mali. Sobrang thank you at gina-guide niyo ako,” he wrote on X.
“Kampton #9 signing off. Animo forever,” he added.
Though the Green Spikers fell short of the Finals, they sparked something bigger this season—a renewed belief in the DLSU men’s volleyball program.
As Kampton took his final UAAP bow, he also gives us a glimpse of the future—one filled with promise. Cradling his son Leon in a proud embrace, he shared a simple yet hopeful dream:
“Season 100, Leon Kampton.”
