The UAAP spirit runs deep as former league standouts showed up to witness the action of the UAAP Season 87 volleyball Final Four.
From both sides of the net, former UAAP stars came out in full force to support their respective alma maters in one of the biggest game days of Season 87.
Former DLSU stalwarts Justine Jazareno, Maicah Larroza, Des Cheng, and Dawn Catindig were seen among the Taft crowd, lending their energy to the Lady Spikers as they battled the UST Golden Tigresses in another intense Final Four pairing.
Meanwhile, former UST ace EJ Laure brought Tigress pride courtside, rooting for her squad along with her child, Iska.
Also backing La Salle were fellow Lady Spikers Tin Tiamzon, Thea Gagate, and Julieanna Levina.
Even outside the volleyball world, the intensity of this UAAP clash drew in top names. Gilas Pilipinas and B.LEAGUE standout Kai Sotto, whose UAAP ties belong to Ateneo, was also spotted enjoying the action.
Despite their professional careers now in full swing, these former athletes remain deeply connected to the intensity of the UAP — and they made that clear by showing up, cheering loud, and living every point with the teams they once fought for.
Because when the lights are bright and the pressure is at its highest, the true spirit of the UAAP shines through — in the players, the fans, and the legends who never really left.
