One last match for an elusive UAAP Season 87 breakthrough.

UE aims to avoid a winless campaign in clashing with the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the men’s volleyball tournament on Saturday, April 26, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

Serving time is at 9:00 a.m.

The Red Warriors became the first team to be eliminated in the Final Four race this season and are on the verge of their first winless season since 2018.

UE is also on a 18-game losing skid that dates back to the second round of Season 86.

The tough road continues for the Recto-based squad after a 20-25, 17-25, and 20-25 defeat to the UST Golden Spikers in their last outing.

No UE player reached double-digit scoring outing as Roy Piojo topscored the squad with just eight markers. Raquim Aceron only managed to record five points.

The Red Warriors are looking for their first win over Ateneo since sweeping the Blue Eagles way back in 2008 in Season 70.
