One of collegiate sports’ biggest rivalries will take center stage once again, as defending champions De La Salle University Green Archers face the Ateneo Blue Eagles to cap off the weekend UAAP Season 87 men’s hoops action at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday evening.

A formidable La Salle squad, bannered by reigning MVP Kevin Quiambao, will meet a new-look Blue Eagles squad that struggled in its first game of the season against another rival in the UP Fighting Maroons.

Though the struggles continue for Ateneo--as key holdover Chris Koon was also hurt in the season opener--the Blue Eagles will look to perform well against their long-time arch nemesis with prized rookie Jared Bahay leading the way.

Before the blockbuster rivalry game, teams will be facing familiar faces as players face their old teams in the second week of UAAP Season 87.

Let’s take a look at the matchups for Week 2.
