After sitting out the crucial fourth set during the University of Santo Tomas' tough loss against Far Eastern University, Angge Poyos made sure to show that she is 100% healthy once more.

Poyos finished with a game-high 25 points in UST's clean sweep of the University of the East, 25-19, 25-9, 25-17, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao on Sunday, April 21, to mark a strong return to form.

"Masaya ako kasi nakabalik akong 100% and bounce-back win for us ulit kasi madami kaming galaw sa FEU na hindi tama," Poyos said during the post-game press conference.

"Binalikan ulit namin ang nag-training ulit kami and ready din kami ngayon. Thankful kasi nakuha namin 'yung panalo," she added.

Coach Kungfu Reyes likewise emphasized the importance of rest and recovery for the young Golden Tigresses squad, who have been dealt with injuries throughout the season.

Aside from Poyos, middle blocker Em Banagua was also able to make her return, contributing a point in limited minutes.

As UST prepares for its final game in the elimination round, which could decide who who will secure the twice-to-beat advantage, the rejuvenated Poyos is welcoming the pressure that comes with it.

"Natutunan ko na love the pressure kasi boring pag wala. Na-overcome naman namin and ma-overcome pa namin sa mga susunod [na games] lalo sa Final Four," said Poyos.

Up next for the Golden Tigresses will be the De La Salle University on Saturday, April 27 at the at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao at 6:00 p.m.
