Repeat-seeking Kevin Quiambao gets self big, bold gift for Christmas

Repeat-seeking Kevin Quiambao gets self big, bold gift for Christmas
UAAP

Kevin Quiambao closed his eyes, took a deep breath, then kissed a tattoo of his grandfather on his right forearm before taking his last free throw.

He made the freebie and the La Salle Green Archers went on to capture the UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball title at the expense of the UP Fighting Maroons a couple of weeks back.

Quiambao never forgets to make the patented gesture whenever he’s at the line, especially in big moments like that championship-clincher that cemented his legacy in La Salle hoops lore.

That simple but meaningful gesture only shows that the big man values the people close to his heartpeople who no doubt helped him get to where he is now, which is the mountaintop of amateur basketball.

Now, weeks later, it appears the Season 86 and finals MVP has gotten himself a new tattoo on that same forearm a day after Christmas.

In an Instagram Story on Tuesday, the do-it-all forward shared a boomering of him in an ink session with renowned tattoo artist Lem Solis.

Look:

Perhaps this new tattoo would give Quiambao additional lucky charm when he runs it back with the Green Archers next UAAP season.

But with or without a tattoo, La Salle fans can expect KQ to be even better next season as the Go Archers look to defend the crown next season.
