The UP Fighting Maroons are not done recruiting just yet.
Days after getting the services of La Salle Greenhills stalwarts Seven Gagate, Joshua Coronel, and Luis Pablo, the Fighting Maroons netted another big fish in Fil-Am Sean Alter.
The 6-foot-8 Alter has committed to the Fighting Maroons before his team Fil-National Select duked it out with National University-Nazareth School in the 2023 Smart-NBTC Division 1 finals.
The Bullpups emerged as champions with a 75-64 win at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday.
“Sean’s another important piece to the puzzle for us to keep competing in the UAAP,” said UP basketball program director Bo Perasol.
Alter will join an already-massive UP frontline made up of Pablo (6-foot-7), Gagate (6-foot-8) and reigning UAAP men’s basketball MVP Malick Diouf (6-foot-11).
