Four in a row, and still unstoppable.

SIBOL MLBB Men proved once again why they reign supreme in Southeast Asian esports, capping off a historic SEA Games campaign with a commanding 4-0 sweep of Malaysia in the finals Wednesday, December 17, at Chulalongkorn University.

With the victory, the Philippines secured their fourth consecutive SEA Games gold, completing an unbeaten 6-0 run from the group stage through the championship round.

The series saw SIBOL take the first two games, mount an epic Game 3 comeback, and then dominate the championship-clinching Game 4 with poise and precision.

Anchored by Team Liquid Philippines’ core — Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, Alston “Sanji” Pabico, Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz — and joined by John Carlo “Caloy” Roma of Twisted Minds PH, with head coach Rodel “Ar Sy” Cruz at the helm, SIBOL showcased why they remain a cut above the rest in the region.

After this blistering finals performance, all eyes now turn to the SIBOL MLBB Women, who aim to continue the winning legacy when they face Malaysia for gold at 3:00 p.m. Philippine time.
