Kayla Sanchez was not done reaping medals.

Just a day after delivering the country's second gold, Sanchez wound up on the podium not once, but twice, in the Southeast Asian Games swimming Thursday, Dec. 11.

Sanchez brought home a pair of silver mints for Team Philippines, the first after clocking 28.24 in the women’s 50m backstroke.

"It's an honor to receive two silver medals and to stand alongside such talented athletes. There's still four more days in the competition, so I have to manage my energy and all the emotions," Sanchez said in an interview with Cignal.

"I'll just take all of the support with me, and I'm excited to keep going through the meet," she added.

Indonesia’s Masniari World lorded over the event, while the host country's Saovanee Boonamphi settled for bronze.

The Filipina Olympian, who was part of the quartet that bagged the first gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay a day before, did not end her stellar showing there.

Later, she snagged another silver, this time in the 200m freestyle as she timed 2:02.19, besting Thailand’s Maria Nedelko, who settled for bronze.

Singapore’s Ching Hwee Gan ended up claiming the gold medal.
