SIBOL heads to the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand with strengthened MLBB and AOV rosters, aiming to extend the Philippines’ esports legacy in the region.
SIBOL is set to compete in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand with reinforced rosters in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Arena of Valor (AOV), as the Philippine esports delegation aims to extend the country’s winning legacy in the biennial event.
The men’s MLBB squad is targeting a fourth consecutive gold medal, hoping to reinforce the Philippines’ dominance in the popular title.
MPL Philippines Season 16 champions Team Liquid Philippines form the core of the lineup, headlined by Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, Alston “Sanji” Pabico, and Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz.
John Carlo “Caloy” Roma of Twisted Minds PH rounds out the six-man roster, with Rodel “Ar Sy” Cruz serving as head coach.

After winning silver in the previous SEA Games, the women’s MLBB team returns with added confidence.
The roster features champions of the SIBOL National Team Qualifiers, NaVi PH, that include Kaye Maerylle “Keishi” Alpuerto, Rica Fatima “Amoree” Amores, Gwyneth “Ayanami” Diagon, Sheen “Shinoa” Perez, and Mery Christine “Meraaay” Vivero.
Clarisse “CLA” Cordova of Team Liquid PH completes the team under coach Salman “KingSalman” Macarambon.
SIBOL's AOV representatives—Harold Cabaguing, Jovani Ejercito, Michael Carlo Gonzaga, John Fernand Mariño, and Argie Odtuhan—enter the tournament aiming for a podium finish.
For the first time, SIBOL also introduces Ka-6th Man, an official identity for supporters symbolizing fans as the team’s sixth player in their SEA Games Thailand 2025 campaign.
“Ang achievement ng team, may it be part ka ng main roster or 6th man, achievement ng lahat,” said SIBOL correspondent Chanelle Hernandez.
The games will be held at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, with MLBB group stages beginning Dec. 13 for men and Dec. 14 for women, and AOV events starting Dec. 18.
