Top stars from the PVL and Spikers' Turf will gather in Candon City for the Volleyball All-Star Showcase on May 1, marking the return of the league-wide spectacle for the first time since 2017.
Philippine professional volleyball will take center stage once again as the Volleyball All-Star Showcase makes its long-awaited return on May 1 at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.
The special event will feature two All-Star Games showcasing the top players from the PVL and Spikers’ Turf, bringing together the brightest stars from the women’s and men’s professional ranks for a night celebrating the sport’s elite talents.
Ahead of the showcase, organizers also unveiled the official event logo, signaling the revival of the All-Star spectacle—the first since 2017 and the first to be staged during the professional era of the PVL.
The logo, created by Mark Ron Castaneda and Juan Lorenzo Navarro, merges elements from both leagues, symbolizing the coming together of the country’s premier professional volleyball competitions.
Its design incorporates visual motifs inspired by the identities of the PVL and Spikers’ Turf, reflecting the shared stage that the two leagues will occupy during the showcase.
At the base of the logo is a tribute to Candon City, which will host the inaugural staging of the revived event.
One of the standout elements of the design is the eight yellow stars, representing the composition of a volleyball team on the court—six players, a libero, and the head coach guiding the squad.
With the All-Star celebration returning after nearly a decade, the Volleyball All-Star Showcase is expected to deliver a festive display of talent, camaraderie, and high-level play as the country’s top volleyball stars converge in Candon City for a night dedicated to the sport and its fans.
