The Capital1 Solar Spikers returned to the win column after thwarting the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in five sets, 25-21, 18-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday, February 17, at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.

The Solar Spikers capitalized on the slumping Flying Titans, who were without Eya Laure after reinjuring her abdomen during their loss to the Creamline Cool Smashers.

After sitting out most of the fourth set due to cramps, Bella Belen came back roaring in the tightly-contested fifth set, pushing Capital1 to a crucial 10-8 lead.

With momentum on their side, the Solar Spikers pushed ahead further with a 5-2 run to close out the match and seal the victory.

With the win, Capital1 improved to 2-2 in the standings, while Choco Mucho dropped to 1-3 for 9th place.

Belen, who was hailed the 2025 Philippine Sportswriters Association's Ms. Volleyball awardee, tied her career-high with 29 points and 15 excellent digs.

The Solar Spikers will go for back-to-back wins when they face the Creamline Cool Smashers on Saturday, February 21, at the same venue.
