It’s been a shaky start for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, even with the arrival and return of Eya Laure and Sisi Rondina.

After opening their campaign with a victory over the Akari Chargers, the Flying Titans have lost back-to-back games against the Cignal Super Spikers and Creamline Cool Smashers.

For head coach Dante Alinsunurin, the two defeats exposed clear areas that need immediate correction, particularly in first-ball control and decision-making during broken plays.

Kung ano man 'yung gusto namin mangyari sa loob ng court, doon talaga napatunayan na kailangan gawin talaga," Alinsunurin told reporters after Choco Mucho’s loss to Creamline.

Alinsunurin also pointed out that patience and composure have been inconsistent, especially in out-of-system situations.

"'Yung ginagawa namin pag out of system, 'yun lang more on kailangan lang namin i-adapt kung ano man 'yung sitwasyon namin."

Despite the early setbacks, Alinsunurin remains optimistic, stressing that the long conference leaves room for adjustments.

"'Yung pagkatalo, doon kami matututo kasi itong liga naman na ‘to mahaba. Maraming pwedeng mangyari," he said.

Plenty of adjustments needed

Sisi Rondina likewise echoed the same issues for Choco Mucho, emphasizing the need for better rhythm and execution.

The former league MVP emphasized the importance of fully embracing the adjustments Alinsunurin has been introducing, particularly the new techniques he has incorporated into their system.
